The Falls Estate has been designed to provide our residents with an active lifestyle and a range of advantages you wouldn’t expect to find in conventional suburban living. This is definitely not an “Old Folks” home! Living at The Falls you’re part of a welcoming, active, friendly and caring village community. Secure in the knowledge that your present and future housing needs are being met, you can relax and live your life to the fullest – at a pace you set for yourself – and enjoy the company of family and friends in the comfort of your own home whenever you choose. Village Management staff work closely with residents to continually introduce new ideas and benefits to enhance the value of living at The Falls Estate. They help ensure the privacy and independence of residents is safeguarded in a secure environment, and they supervise our community facilities. Working in conjunction with the Residents’ Committee, they also organise and co-ordinate functions and meetings in both the Community and Recreational Centres, arrange shopping excursions, social and sporting events, and pleasure trips to the movies, theatres and the like. Management also organise the attendance of visiting medical and para-medical personnel and will ensure all residents are kept up-to-date with what is happening in their village community.

Total Care by Access visited The Falls Estate this week and shared valuable information about their services, including Home Care 🏡, Disability Support ♿, Injury Support & Rehabilitation 💪, and Nursing Services, such as Wound Care 🩹. It was an incredibly informative session, and our residents asked thoughtful and engaging questions 👏.

There’s nothing quite like the joy and energy that swing dancing brings to our Village! Every session is filled with smiling faces, quick feet, and plenty of laughter as residents twirl, sway, and step their way around the floor.

✨ Our residents don’t just enjoy the music—they live it! Many love taking part in swing dancing events, joining in with enthusiasm and showing that staying active can be fun, social, and full of sparkle.

🎶 Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or simply curious to give it a go, swing dancing is a wonderful way to keep moving, meet new people, and share a bit of joy. Every session brings a chuckle, a story, and a chance to enjoy the moment together.

David has been showing off his incredible talent again — last Friday it was the harp ✨, with John happily enjoying the rehearsal right alongside him.

Residents are more than welcome to come along to any of David’s rehearsals. He loves having company, and it’s a great way to add a little sparkle to your day! 🌟

🎄✨ Judy’s Christmas Jaunt – Final Trip for 2025! ✨🎄

What an absolute treat! Yesterday, 26 lucky residents headed out on the final 'Judy’s Jaunt' (monthly Village outing) of 2025 — a festive Christmas trip to the beautiful Waipu Golf Club. And what a way to wrap up the year… it truly went out with a bang! 💥😄

To make it even more fun, nobody knew where we were going! 🤫🎁 As we travelled along, there were plenty of guesses — some close, some very creative — adding lots of laughs and excitement on the journey 🚐😂.

The views were stunning 🌤️⛳, the food was absolutely scrumptious 🍽️😋, and the atmosphere was just fantastic — full of laughter, good company, and plenty of Christmas cheer 🎅🎁.

We were thoroughly looked after by the friendly club staff, who made the whole experience feel extra special 🌟.

There were even lucky dips, and a few fortunate residents walked away with a little something extra 🎁🍀 — adding even more fun to an already memorable outing.
