Almost a year since Dave & Lynn became our very first residents at The Moorings, we’ve marked another first — breaking ground on our temporary clubhouse! 🥳 With plenty of laughs (and a helping paw from Murphy the dog 🐾), our pioneering couple, Leigh Hopper, Phil from PJ Builders, and Toni our Village Manager turned the first sods to kick off this exciting new chapter.

A space for friendships, family, and fun is on its way! 🌿✨

The Moorings Retirement Village is an exciting new addition to the Whitianga Waterways and is a retirement offering unlike anything else found along the Coromandel Peninsula. We are presently seeking a weekend host/hostess for our new Showhome. This is the perfect opportunity to work part-time, right here in beautiful Whitianga.
