Hi, my name is Derek Tan and I am the principle massage therapist of Muscle Fix - massage therapy. Now running a mobile service in Invercargill, Winton and districts. I have more than ten years of clinical massage experience having graduated with a degree in therapeutic and sports massage at the SIT in 2008. A simple exercise to do daily for better posture. Most of our neck and upper back pain is cause by poor posture. So this is a good exercise to strengthen our postural muscles. Start slowly and gradually build up :)

Here's a simple exercise I do every day to maintain better posture. Emphasise thoracic extension with a drawing in and down of the shoulder blades aka scapula.
