Pilates For You

Pilates For You Pilates is Ideal for:
- pre and post natal fitness
- rehabilitation after injuries
- body toning
- muscle strengthening
- improving flexibility

Alexandra Foerstmann trained with the CCC in April 2009 to become a Pilates Instructor. Studied at NZIHF and qualified as a Personal Trainer in May 2009. Became a registered ISBT- Bowen Therapist in March 2013 and Fascial Kinetics Bowen therapy in September 2018. She has been running classes for 12 years from Woodend. With Alex you get a dedicated, focused lesson that will leave your body feeling energized, strong and relaxed. Beginner/Intermediate/Advances Pilates and Yoga classes are run from the Methodist Church Hall in Woodend and the Pegasus community Centre.

- $16 casual class.
- $98 for 1 class per week for the block.
- $182 for 2 classes per week for the block.

Zoom class:

I started Pilates and Yoga For You back in 2010 with just two classes โ€” and here we are, 16 years later, still growing together. ๐Ÿ’›

Some of you have been with me from day one, and many others have been coming regularly for years. That is such a privilege. Truly โ€” without you, there would be no Pilates and Yoga For You. Iโ€™m incredibly grateful.

Pilates is so much more than physical exercise.
Itโ€™s mindful movement โ€” paying attention to every single action to create a strong connection between mind and body.

Our classes work the whole system: the nervous and muscular systems, mobility, balance, and even facial release โ€” supporting true mind-body connection from the inside out.

Rather than naming classes after body parts, we offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. This means no matter your experience, strength, agility, or injuries, youโ€™ll experience a complete, balanced practice.

We also use a variety of small props โ€” Foam Rollers, Soft Balls, Terra Bands, Sliders, Swiss Balls and more โ€” to challenge the body and keep the mind engaged.

Come and try a class.
Weโ€™re a friendly bunch who love to move, laugh, connect, and exercise together. ๐Ÿ˜Š
We are in the Pegasus Community Center, next to the Vet and 2 doors down from the Sunshine cafe.
