A beautiful pose that stretches your hips, quads, groin, and shoulders...considered as a hip opener, heart opener or even a backbend.

Fun fact: I used to practice the pose at home quite alot with straps or bands since I couldn't get into the form properly. But when I was out here in this place, doing my poses, suddenly it happened out of nowhere! So this came as a huge surprise to me. 😍

Practicing YOGA can take you to a serious path of self discovery or simply just entertain you, surprise you, uplift you, give your body and mind the health it needs & show you a whole new world within YOU itself. 😊🌍 Do give it a try! πŸ’•

Ps; I've been super busy since the past few days and I guess I'll continue to be so until next month...have things coming up, so might not be able to post often like before...but I'll try to keep up anyways! 😍

Surreal 😍❀️

A quick tip for pain-free cobra pose : engage your abdominals and work towards an even bend along the whole length of spine. Don't push yourself to reach into a pose immediately. Only do what's comfortable for you BUT keep practicing!

My positioning is slightly different in this picture since I was trying not slip off the rocks as there was water flowing over the area where I had placed my hand along with soft sulphur sand.

A perfect chest opener and backbend to start the day with! @ Ain Sahban Sulfur Springs β€οΈπŸ™

Practicing outside can be really challenging and will need lots of prep and effort to make it happen. It might even be out of your comfort zone. But I feel I work myself more effectively when I'm outside. When I practice at home, I know I'm safe, there's a stable land and a soft cushioning mat below me, there's no one staring at me like "what's she even trying to do", etc. But the moment I'm practicing out, I have 100 things hitting my head and the fear of losing a grip, falling down, hitting hard, breaking my teeth or any other bone (a nightmare for a dentist) not having a stable ground for support, people moving around distracting me, losing my focus and what not...

While I practice at home some poses seem like a routine, easy peesy stretch for me. But those same poses can be felt thoroughly for every second when I'm doing it outside. That time, I'm suddenly aware of every muscle and cell that's moving or contracting to make that pose happen which basically means that I'm a 100 times more alert when I practice outside. So it's a good thing to try your practice in different environments and test yourself.

Is it just me who feels that the environment makes a difference in our routine practice? πŸ˜‚

I AM GROUNDED and secure. I am rooted into the earth. The energy of the earth is flowing through my finger tips while I center myself with my breath and stay balanced.

For a balancing pose that makes me feel grounded as well, nothing gets to it like arm balances for me. So doing a crow pose here.

Ps; since I blindly trust my photographer 😜 and also as I was soo exhausted to cross check the pics...it's only after reaching home I realized that the pose isn't quiet clear...so supplementing it with another one I've done that has better pose clarity and form... πŸ˜‚

We are God's creation. Yet we all do many, many mistakes. But if God can forgive us, who are we not to forgive? So yes, I AM FORGIVEN.

Know what you have done. Know what has happened. Know how you can fix it or do better. Because acceptance/acknowledgement is the first step towards it. Forgive yourself, only then comes peace and a new chance to prove yourself that you have changed for better. β€οΈπŸ™

Ps; yeah, I just laid down there in frog's pose on the wet beach sand not caring about my clothes πŸ˜‚ but honestly it was so comfy, soft and grounding to the earth! This pose is ultimate hip opener for me because nothing (yet!) challenges my hips like how it does.
