We Won the “Cargo Handler of the Year” Award!

We’re proud to share that SAASA has been recognized as “Cargo Handler of the Year” at the 2025 Proud of Ground Handling International Awards in Amsterdam, an honor that celebrates excellence, innovation, and operational performance among the world’s top cargo handlers.

This recognition highlights key milestones achieved over the past year, including our work with DHL as a preferred service provider and our strong commitment to R&D to deliver tailored, high-performance solutions for our clients.

We were also honored as finalists in two additional categories:

We proudly celebrated our 13th anniversary more than a decade of growth, teamwork, and excellence that define who we are.

To mark this milestone, we held a sports event that strengthened our spirit of unity and collaboration.

The celebration extended to our stations in Peru, Mexico, and Spain, where our teams came together to share this achievement a reflection of the passion and commitment that drive SAASA every day.

To mark the implementation of our new equipment, fleet, facilities, and overall enhanced
capabilities at SAASA Mexico, we held a special gathering with clients, authorities, and
representatives of the aviation sector.
During the event, our guests joined us on a tour that showcased a perfect blend of technology,
efficiency, and human talent, reflecting our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement
and operational excellence.
This event marks the start of a new stage filled with challenges and growth, and reinforces our
commitment to keep growing alongside our clients, providing value, trust, and solutions that
meet the standards of the world’s leading airlines.

In Peru, every year more than 9,000 pets travel to or from abroad with their families, and 75% of them are certified by SENASA at the Jorge Chávez International Airport.

At SAASA, we understand that pets are more than companions, they are family. That’s why we are deeply committed to their well-being, ensuring their safety, comfort, and care at every stage of their journey.

Supported by our CEIV Live Animals certification, we continuously train our personnel and provide exclusive, noise-free areas for live animals all designed with their comfort and safety in mind.

This month, in alliance with SENASA, we actively participated in a training session for airlines, freight forwarders, and our technical team on the “Viaja con tu Mascota” platform, which digitalizes the sanitary certification process and streamlines customer service.

This joint effort will help enhance the user experience and ensure the care of every pet throughout their travel process.

At SAASA, we reaffirm our commitment to animal welfare and to the continuous improvement in live animal handling.
