Gratitude to the plant realm as we walk the plant path 🌿

Trusting wholeheartedly in our plant kins missions with our destiny, their quiet knowing patience awaiting our return so that they may have their way with our consciousness, elevating us into the highest vision of humanity

May we remember we’re never alone, the green ones reaching out to us always, conspiring for our presence and opened perspective

Give us the faith to rest in their intelligence, reminded that we already have all we need right here beneath our feet, in the hedgerow, the fall of the rain and the sparkle of the night sky

Let us relate to the plants as plantcestors - the elders of us all -  sat in the web of life of the 4 directions and the elemental forces that underlie all of creation

Oh creator mother, remind us that we belong to life

Bodies resting on the earth, hearts remembering the ritual of working with our hands, feet rooting into land connection, hearts and spirits returning

We women have been carrying seeds in the hems of our skirts across continents and oceans for generations, to preserve life, to carry medicine, to stay in community with our plant kin

The plants have healed my deepest pains and griefs with their innate wisdom and unconditional love. They have shown me time and time again realms beyond imagination, beauty beyond comprehension, and the fabric of life itself

My annual pilgrimage back to the lands of blood and childhood is rising and with that summer daydreams of Gathering The Flowers returns to my shores 🌈

These day retreats are a great root for my heart, it is such a pleasure to reunite in our countryside cocoon, time and time again we meet at the altar of love, witnessing each other rise higher into truth and expression, celebrating all that we are and all that is. My heart swells and voice cracks at the thought of being in circle and on the land together again

The land speaks, when we choose to remember to listen, and the land of our birth and kin speaks the language of our bones, there is a unique healing that occurs in peaceful homecoming

Palms rest on lichen-covered ancient rock beings, stories of old begin to pulse. Hedgerows and woodlands burst with the faces of plant spirit friends - hawthorn, foxglove, nettle, yarrow, elder. The intoxicating perfume of prayer whispers on the wind, levitating on smoke and ash in the summer light

Laying flowers on ancestors graves, communing with the waters, wells and the women who inspire the heart, re-attuning and honouring the ancient gnosis held in the body that can only be re-awakened by this belonging and this place

Let us gather together in the spirit of the beauty way for ceremony and song, ritual and earth medicine. To commune as a village and remember the splendour of this radiant life

Resting in the belly of the mother, still slumbering in the comfort of winters long night, yet sensing the surge of the new quietly beginning to hum in the warmth of the soils of our imagination

The rhythm of the seasons is inspiring my path and faith in the unseen. The fine dance between desire and surrender is on the barefoot dance floor, I am placing my bones in the hands of the goddess and opening to the intimacy of life, remembering that I am guided in all of my endeavours

Life here in guatemala has been a never-ending cosmic swirl of family and ceremony, medicine and beauty, teachings and lessons, revelations and openings. Yet, I am hearing the seasons call to sharpen my arrows and extend my bow towards the creative forcefield of the future

I have been in a season of change, allowing much of what has held me these last years to start slowly falling away as I rise the next chapter of life, calling forth my visions and long held heart desires, nurturing the universal creative mother archetype within me and preparing to spread my wings on this pathless path that my heart is in total commitment to once again

My roots are yearning for tending and the nurturance of home. There is a real bone deep nourishment that can only be received when standing in wonderment in my ancestral lands

I’m looking forward to returning to england to gather with you all once again, to celebrate all the beauty, this one wild life and to commune with the earth

mountain spirits so big they can hold any process with their skilful presence, artistry of wonderment + true masculine force

under their steady gaze i returned to my queendom within, spending the majority of the last 5 months knelt in their embrace in practice, self commitment + inner altar tending, after a year long death spiral with a dark entity + learning the intimacy of grief

how could i begin to say thank you, how could i write poetry that could move the inner waters in the way these mountains have moved me, no letter of devotion could satisfy the lovers they became

to become intimate with
is to become witness to

in the reciprocity of our shared attention, stories unravelled, jewels in the centre of the lotus flower rose, the mountain provided such beauty, coherence, the sweet bounty of presence, and the simplicity of living with a rested mind, a healing body + regulated hormones

and now i walk in the light of remembrance

she’s not packaged and polished, she’s in your moon blood, the dirt under your finger nails, the sweat dripping down your back on your late night kitchen dance floor

she’s the one that drags you kicking and screaming to your next death spiral, the one that wills you through the darkest nights, for she has already foretold your rebirth

she’s your shame and your glory, she resides in your dark and in your light, she’s full spectrum you, and her only constant is her insatiable desire for the ever unfolding evolution of you

you won’t find temples devoted to her, you’ll have to dig to the core of the earth for scripture praising her name, and there are no longer nations raised in her honour

you’ll instead witness her in auspicious moments in nature, feel her watching over as inspiration drips from your fingertips, see her in the wisdom telling lines of a grandmothers face and know her spiral dance as your spine reawakens in remembrance of who and what you are

in time you’ll see her in the bloom of every flower and tear stained cheek, in the darkness before the dawn of the new day and in the glint of a sovereign woman’s eye

you’ll know her as the source of creation, preservation and destruction, she all is encompassing, she is every form, the space inbetween and that which has no name

between ache and awe she is there quietly breathing, serpent like between the seen and the unseen, drummer, drumbeat and the heart that beats in unison

there is nowhere and there is nothing that she is not

she is the cosmic source of all creation and you are the earthly embodiment of her

let us drink from the multidimensional well of you/her
