Please be formally advised of a necessary adjustment to the schedule for the upcoming "KASIYAHAN SA WPU 2025" event.

The new schedule dates are December 12โ€“19, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM nightly. Each night will be hosted by a different College Student Organization.

Tickets will be available for purchase before December 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

Five (5) consolation prizes and one (1) major prize will be drawn each night.

NOTE: All attendees must present their tickets upon entry each night.

The Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges (STRASUC) Olympics officially opened today at Marinduque State University (MarSU), bringing together around 2,000 participants from 12 state universities and colleges across the region. The week-long sports festival, set from November 23โ€“28, kicked off with a vibrant show of school spirit and unity.

Western Philippines University (WPU) began its day with a prayer led by University President Dr. Amabel S. Liao, who also offered a big hug and words of encouragement to inspire the athletes as they enter a week of competition, camaraderie, and excellence.

One of the highlights of the opening events was the solidarity parade, where delegations marched around the town, proudly carrying their school colors. WPUโ€™s very own mascot, the Blue Bee, stole the spotlight and drew cheers, waves, and countless smiles from spectators along the route.

As the competitions unfold, WPU calls on the community to continue showing support to its student-athletes and the entire delegation representing the university with pride and passion.

WPU also extends its heartfelt thanks to Marinduque State University for its warm hospitality and exemplary hosting of this yearโ€™s STRASUC Olympics.
