🌸 GOOD NEWS, MGA ALBUERANOS! 🌸

After being postponed due to the earthquake and tsunami warning, Operation Smile Philippines is finally resuming its cleft screening activities! 😄

📅 NEW SCREENING DATES:
📍 November 15, 2025 – Baybay City

📌 Ngano wala madayon last time?
The previous schedule (October 11–12) was postponed because of the magnitude 7.4 earthquake in Davao Oriental and the tsunami warning issued by PHIVOLCS.
This decision was made to ensure everyone’s safety due to possible aftershocks and hazards. 🙏

Daghang salamat sa inyong pagsabot ug suporta! 💙
Let’s continue to bring hope, healing, and smiles to our community. 😁

🌟 2-Day Training Highlight! 🌟

Last October 16–17, 2025, our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) from Albuera North and Albuera South participated in a two-day training on “Resilient Immunization through Strengthened Ecosystems – Reaching Every Purok (RISE-REP CDS 3 Plus)”. 💉👶

The training focused on empowering health workers through Social and Behavior Change (SBC), Gender Equality Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), and Interpersonal Communication on Immunization (IPC).

This activity was made possible through the efforts of Sir Jimwell Cañedo, our Social Mobilizer from ChildFund and UNICEF, and with the unwavering support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Rolan Espinosa and Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Twinkle Ann De la Cruz. 👏💚

A huge thank you to all our passionate BHWs who actively participated, learned, and shared their experiences — padayon sa atong misyon nga “Reaching Every Purok, One Child at a Time.” 🙌✨
