A warm welcome to our newly deployed Rural Health Physician! 🧑‍⚕️

We are grateful to the Department of Health – Center for Health Development Central Visayas through our Development Management Officer, Ms. Angelie Brook Cejudo for the deployment of a Rural Health Physician to our municipality. Your presence is a great help in strengthening our health services and ensuring better access to quality healthcare for our community.

We also extend our appreciation to our Local Government Unit under the administration of Mayor Engr. Eugene Singson Jr. for the continued support and commitment to improving the health and well-being of our constituents.

On March 4-6, 2026, the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) successfully conducted the Philippine Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (PIMAM) Training of Trainers (TOT) to Alcoy Barangay Nutrition Scholars and RHU Staff.

This training aims to strengthen the capacity of health workers in identifying, managing, and preventing acute malnutrition among children in the community.

Through collaboration and continuous learning, we move forward in promoting better nutrition and healthier futures for every child in Alcoy. 💙👶

Ang malusog na pagkain, regular na pisikal na aktibidad, pag-iwas sa paninigarilyo, at regular na check-up ay epektibong paraan upang mapanatiling malakas ang puso.

Ang bawat tibok ng puso ay mahalaga, alagaan ito ngayon para sa mas mahaba at mas masayang bukas.
