What a remarkable year it has been for us, pharmates — a 𝙖 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝, 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨, 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. As we turn the page, we carry with us not only our victories and joyful moments, but also the lessons learned from our mistakes, challenges, and setbacks — each one shaping us into 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧, 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨.

Handa na ba ang 𝓜𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓸 𝓖𝓻𝓪𝓱𝓪𝓶 𝓪𝓽 𝓕𝓻𝓾𝓲𝓽 𝓢𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓭 ninyo, pharmates? 🎄✨

It’s that time of the year again — when every home glows with 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔, 𝒗𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔, and 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒖𝒌𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒂 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑶𝑳 , while the 𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒔 echo through the streets. The 𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑮𝒂𝒃𝒊, 𝒑𝒖𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒂 is nearing to its end, gently reminding us of the 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝, 𝕵𝖊𝖘𝖚𝖘 𝕮𝖍𝖗𝖎𝖘𝖙.

As universities begin opening their college applications, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 opened its campus for two days to warmly welcome 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 🏫✨. During this period, various departments prepared 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗴 💥 to showcase their programs and encourage students to choose 𝗔𝗨𝗙 for their college journey 🚀

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏), with the help of its 𝘕𝘰𝘯-𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, opened a 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹–𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 🎠🎪 to highlight its diverse programs. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 ☢️, 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 💊, 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 🦽, 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 🩼, 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 💉, CAMP showcased the 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗨𝗙–𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 ✨ that Grade 12 students can experience once they choose to hop on the 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗨𝗙–𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 🎢💙

As students entered the 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿, they were welcomed with 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 🎉. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, actual program representations, and 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 🎟️🎁 filled the space—making every moment 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 💫

In this 𝘁𝘄𝗼-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, CAMP successfully showed what students can expect and how 𝗳𝘂𝗻, 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 🌟 it is to become a 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝘆𝗼𝗻 💪🩺

𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐮𝐬 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

As universities begin opening their college applications, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 opened its campus for two days to warmly welcome 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 🏫✨. During this period, various departments prepared 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗴 💥 to showcase their programs and encourage students to choose 𝗔𝗨𝗙 for their college journey 🚀

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏), with the help of its 𝘕𝘰𝘯-𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, opened a 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹–𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 🎠🎪 to highlight its diverse programs. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙢𝙖 𝙞𝙣 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜

This HIV Awareness Month, let’s remind ourselves that getting tested for HIV is a powerful act of self-care. It's an essential step toward protecting not just your health, but also the health of those around you. Knowing your status empowers you to take charge of your well-being and make informed decisions about your health and treatment options.

If you’re in the Angeles City area, you can take that first step towards knowing your status at the 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 - 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲ñ𝗼, located at 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮. The clinic provides confidential, stigma-free testing and offers the support you need for a healthier future.

The latest estimates on HIV in the Philippines show that by the 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, approximately 𝟮𝟱𝟮,𝟴𝟬𝟬 people are expected to be living with HIV. As of 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, over 𝟭𝟰𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬 individuals have already been diagnosed, and 𝟵𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 of them are currently on life-saving 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 (𝗔𝗥𝗧). This treatment helps manage the virus, allowing people to live longer, healthier lives.

But there’s more we can do. Right now, only 𝟰𝟳% of those on ART have reached viral suppression, which means the virus is at such low levels in their blood that it can’t be detected. This is a key goal in HIV treatment, as it reduces the risk of transmission and improves overall health. While the number of people diagnosed and receiving treatment continues to rise, we still need to make sure more individuals get tested and receive the care they need.

This HIV Awareness Month, take a step forward for yourself and your community. Get tested, know your status, and encourage others to do the same. Early diagnosis and proper treatment can change lives. You are not alone in this journey.
