TJG SPED Learning Center Program Statement
At TJG SPED Learning Center, we are deeply committed to providing individualized Special Education (self-contained) programs that utilize evidence-based teaching approaches paired with behavioral strategies. Our aim is to create a therapeutic teaching-learning process that develops holistic skills and nurtures the unique potentials of SNED (Special Needs Education) learners, addressing each child’s needs while unlocking their full capabilities.

Therapeutic Approach to Develop Holistic Skills
At TJG SPED Learning Center, we emphasize that developing holistic skills is not a specific service or therapy, but rather a comprehensive methodology that supports the overall development of each child. Special Education covers a wide range of target skills, and our therapeutic approach allows us to address these in a way that is inclusive, child-centered, and purpose-driven.
The aim of our therapeutic approach is to develop the holistic skills and unique potentials of SNED learners. It is integrated into our teaching strategies and methodologies to ensure that each child’s needs are met thoughtfully, effectively, and with compassion.
Our self-contained program follows a playschool setup and is combined with a tutorial program, offering a structured yet engaging environment where children can grow at their own pace and in their own way.
The Role of Specialized Therapies
We recognize and emphasize the importance of specialized therapies and services, such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other related interventions, particularly for children who require higher levels of support. These services are vital in addressing specific developmental challenges and often serve as foundational steps before a child can be integrated into or promoted within a graded level.
We do not aim to replace or compete with these essential services. Rather, we complement them by integrating behavioral therapy into our educational framework providing a holistic and therapeutic learning environment that directly addresses each child’s unique challenges and needs.
Our Advocacy and Commitment
As the number of children diagnosed with special needs continues to grow, we understand that we cannot accommodate every learner despite our heartfelt desire to do so. In response, we dedicate ourselves to raising awareness, promoting inclusivity, and fostering collaboration within the Special Education community.
We advocate for support, not competition. We believe in working hand-in-hand with other professionals, service providers, and families who share the same goal: empowering children with special needs through individualized care and education.
