"Doktora Ang taas Ng Grado ng mata ko - pwede na ba akong makakuha Ng PWD ID?"
"Doktora, naoperahan na ako sa Katarata pwede na ba akong magka PWD ID?"
"Doktora may Glaucoma ako pwede na ba akong magka PWD ID?"
at iba pa...

Para Po Maliwanag sa Lahat :
Hindi dahil "MALABO ang MATA" O "MATAAS ang GRADO ay MABIBIGYAN na ng PWD ID.

QUESTIONS:
WHO ARE QUALIFIED FOR A PWD ID?
> Ang mga taong ang Visual Acuity (kahit may Salamin, Contact Lens, IOL etc) na hindi umabot sa pamantayan na may malinaw na paningin

Halimbawa:
Right Eye -20/70
Left Eye -20/200

Itinuturing silang Low Vision and Legally Blind respectively. So, kino-consider sila bilang Persons with Visual Disability and QUALIFIED for a Persons with Disability ID Card.

Sa mga may Eyeglasses, Contact Lenses o IOL (Operado sa Katarata) at iba pa.

*kahit mataas ang grado mo, pero nakikita mo naman ang 20/20 hanggang 20/60 line sa Eye Testing chart,
❎ HINDI ka Qualified.

*kung mataas ang grado mo at hanggang 20/70 line ka lang sa Eye Testing chart,
✅MAAARI ka na mag apply

Para mas madaling maintindihan:
Dapat ang BEST CORRECTED VISUAL ACUITY of your EYE is 20/70 or POORER. 🤓
Example:
Right eye. - 20/70
Left eye -20/20
❎ Not qualified

Right eye -20/200
Left eye -20/100
✅ may isang qualification ka na

Right eye - 20/40
Left eye -20/40
Kahit mataas ang grado
❎Not qualified

*Sa mga may Glaucoma at iba pa na may makipot o constricted visual field na less than 20 degrees
✅ may isang Qualification ka na

May mga levels of Visual Impairment based on Visual Field Loss (loss of peripheral vision).

May iba pang Guidelines na sinusundan para ma Qualify ka.
