Dra. Abalajon graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, Batch 2009. She then had her residency training in General Surgery at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital from 2010 - 2014. After completing her residency training, she proceeded to Yonsei University - Severance Hospital in Seoul Korea where she completed a 1-year formal Fellowship in Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery of the Upper Gastrointestinal Tract, subspecializing in surgery for Gastric (stomach) cancer. She is a fellow of both the Philippine College of Surgeons and the Philippine Society of General Surgeons. Currently, she is a full time consultant at Fatima University Medical Center Antipolo and ManilaMed (Medical Center Manila)
