π¨ ALOPECIA AREATA AWARENESS
Jerry is living with patchy alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition that causes small to large patches of hair loss.
What made this case especially challenging is that his remaining hair is very thick. Even when shaved down, the active follicles beneath the scalp create a warm, almost olive to green hue, which contrasts strongly against the completely bald patches.
Blending in cases like this is never simple.
My goal was to reduce the contrast, not overpower it. Carefully matching tones, respecting the natural undertone of the scalp, and avoiding oversaturation or a βpaintedβ look. Every impression had to stay subtle, controlled, and realistic.
After 4 carefully planned sessions, Iβm truly happy with the outcome and more importantly, Jerry is ecstatic!
The stress and anxiety brought on by Alopecia Areata have been greatly relieved, and his confidence is visibly back.
This is why I do what I do.
Not just to create hair illusions but to restore confidence!ππ
