Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) continues to make its mark in the field of Veterinary Medicine as 23 alums successfully passed the first Veterinarians Computer-Based Licensure Examination conducted on October 27–29, 2025. Fourteen (14) first-time takers achieved a 100% passing rate.

Classes in all campuses and work across all operating units will be suspended from 12:00 noon onwards today, October 30, 2025 (Thursday). This is based on the advisory of University President Jaime I. Manuel, Jr., to allow the DMMMSU community sufficient time to prepare for the observance of the upcoming All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.

Regular operations will resume on Monday, November 3, 2025.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: In response to the request of the University Student Council through USC Resolution No. 7, s. 2025-2026, a resolution requesting for a University-Wide Mental Health Break on November 3-4, 2025, President Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. issued Memorandum No. 876 declaring a University-Wide Mental Health Break in all levels at DMMMSU on the said dates.

This break provides students the opportunity to rest, recharge, and reunite with their families in observance of the holidays. Also, this gives the students an avenue to prepare mentally for the upcoming Final Examinations on November 5-8, 2025.
