At SAISHA Wellness, we believe that true healing and harmony start from the inside out. Last Sunday, October 12th, we had the honor of partnering with the Bacolod City Mt. Kanlandog Lions Club to host a rejuvenating afternoon session at the serene Bantug Lake Ranch. Titled "Wellness Begins Within," this gathering was a beautiful invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect with our inner selves amidst nature's embrace.

The session unfolded as a gentle exploration of mindfulness and self-discovery. We began with a basic meditation class, guiding participants to anchor in the present moment and cultivate a sense of calm awareness. This flowed seamlessly into breathwork exercises, where intentional breathing techniques helped release tension and invite vital energy (prana) into the body.

From there, we eased into an easy Yin yoga flowโ€”a restorative practice that targets the deeper connective tissues, encouraging surrender and flexibility not just physically, but emotionally and mentally. Holding poses mindfully, we honored the body's wisdom, allowing space for introspection and renewal.

The afternoon culminated in a profound Hoโ€™oponopono session, the ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. Through simple yet powerful affirmationsโ€”"I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you"โ€”we explored letting go of burdens and embracing personal empowerment. This heart-centered ritual capped our time together with a shared commitment: to make ourselves a priority, to take full responsibility for our lives, and to liberate ourselves from external factors beyond our control. It's a reminder that wellness isn't about perfection; it's about owning our journey with compassion and grace.

We left Bantug Lake Ranch feeling lighter, more centered, and inspired to carry this inner peace into our daily lives. A huge thank you to the Bacolod City Mt. Kanlandog Lions Club for co-creating this space of growth and community!

Traditions to Observe During Ghost Month:

* Avoid wearing bright, shiny, or overly colorful clothing, as it may attract wandering spirits. Instead, opt for modest and subdued attire, preferably in red or black if you choose to wear color.
