Fun time in the flood? Think again! 🚫 As Typhoon Tino brings heavy rain, remember that waddling or swimming in floodwater is extremely dangerous. It's often contaminated with the bacteria that causes Leptospirosis , which can be deadly. Stay safe, stay dry, and keep out of the floodwaters!

A successful day well spent at our LINC UP for Safer Care: Empowering Leaders in Infection Control staff development activity.

This 1-day activity started with an insightful lecture on CLABSI prevention and control by our HAI Lead IPC Nurse, Mr. Christopher Mudanza, followed by an engaging session facilitated by Better Academie with Sir Japuy Jingco. It was truly a fun-filled day with plenty of laughter, learnings, and valuable takeaways.

Our success in infection prevention and control is possible through the collaboration and teamwork of every LINC from all units. Thank you for your dedication, efforts, and hard work in promoting patient safety and strengthening infection control within your areas.

Looking forward to achieving even greater things together as one team. πŸ’ͺ

A little reminder for all the parents and caregivers out there: Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) is making its rounds. It can be tough to see our little ones uncomfortable, but knowing what to look for and how to help can make a big difference.

Remember: If your child has symptoms, it's best to keep them home from school or daycare to prevent the spread and to consult with a doctor for proper guidance. Stay safe and healthy!
