History:

๐‘ซ๐’†๐’„๐’†๐’Ž๐’ƒ๐’†๐’“ 2014. He applied for an insurance plan with P1,000,000.00 coverage together with his wife for P3,333. 33 per month. Their plan got approved right away because they were young and healthy then.

The claim for Life Care Benefit (Critical Illness) was approved for ๐—ฃ๐Ÿญ,๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿฏ,๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฑ.๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿต was approved for his treatment. Happy to say that he has surpassed the ordeal and now back to being a husband to his wife. And being a father to his son and two daughters.

History:

๐‘ซ๐’†๐’„๐’†๐’Ž๐’ƒ๐’†๐’“ 2014. He applied for an insurance plan with P1,000,000.00 coverage together with his wife for P3,333. 33 per month. Their plan got approved right away because they were young and healthy then.

๐‘ด๐’‚๐’š 2024. Client was diagnosed with โ€œPapillary Thyroid Carcinomaโ€ or Thyroid Cancer. And needed to undergo treatment.

๐‘จ๐’–๐’ˆ๐’–๐’”๐’• 19, 2024. After completing all claim requirements, we filed the Life Care Benefit Claim.

Ang sarap sa pakiramdam pag alam mong may HMO ka, di ba? Kampante ka kasi may health coverage ka sa trabaho. Ganyan din si Markโ€”hanggang sa isang araw, bigla siyang nagkasakit.

Akala niya, sagot ng HMO niya lahat. Pero nung chineck niyaโ€ฆ

- May limit pala ang hospital coverage.
- Hindi pala kasama ang critical illness.
- May mga procedures na hindi sakop.
- Pang-hospital bills lang, pero wala palang cash benefit o income replacement.

Doon lang niya na-realize: Magkaiba pala ang HMO at insurance.

โœ” HMO โ€“ Para sa checkups, confinement, at medical expenses sa accredited hospitals.
โœ” Insurance โ€“ Para sa mas malalaking gastos, critical illness, at financial protection ng pamilya.

Hindi mo kailangang mamili sa dalawaโ€”magkaiba sila pero magkasamang mas magandang proteksyon.

Having experienced financial difficulties when I went through angioplasty without any insurance 13 years ago was what led me to this advocacy.

God gave me my 2nd chance to share my story to other families, to educate them about the importance of preparing for this life's WHAT IFs (untimely passing of a breadwinner in the family, the onset of a critical illness, being disabled and not able to work anymore, or the voluntary or Involuntary retirement, etc.)

I thank everyone who listened to me and heeded my advice, and continuously trusting me. i will keep up to my promise to you that I will be there for you and your family when you will need me the most.
