Any view of the future that omits God is foolish and proud. “Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit’; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. . . . Instead you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that’” (James 4:13-15).

As we look ahead with God firmly in view, we can face the future with confidence in His loving plan.

God holds the future in His hands
With grace sufficient day by day,
Through good or ill He gently leads,
If we but let Him have His way. —Rohrs

Those who know Christ as Savior can face the future with joy.

WHEN CAN ONE BE CLASSIFIED AS ALCOHOLIC?

If someone loses control over their drinking and has an excessive desire to drink, it is known as dependent drinking (alcoholism). Dependent drinking usually affects a person's quality of life and relationships, but they may not always find it easy to see or accept this.

4 STAGES OF ALCOHOLISM:
Pre-alcoholic stage
Early stage
Middle stage

CHANGE IS ALWAYS POSSIBLE

Developing an addiction to drugs isn’t a character flaw or a sign of weakness, and it takes more than willpower to overcome the problem.

Abusing illegal or certain prescription drugs can create changes in the brain, causing powerful cravings and a compulsion to use that makes sobriety seem like an impossible goal.

But recovery is never out of reach, no matter how hopeless your situation seems or how many times you’ve tried and failed before. With the right treatment and support, change is always possible.

Take the first step.

IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE WHO IS ADDICTED TO DRUGS, ALCOHOL AND GAMBLING

Having a partner who drinks too much uses drugs or is entangled to gambling is very much like throwing a stone into a still pond: the effects ripple out and influences all that is near.

In the case of a partner who uses drugs or drinks too much, and gambles profoundly, the effect is felt first by his or her children, relatives, friends, and eventually co-workers.

However, many would argue that, aside from the abuser, the greatest price is often paid by the abuser's partner.

If you are in a relationship with someone who is addicted to drugs, alcohol or gambling, a quick call is welcome at 034-4619091, 09700428317, 09173030428
