RHU Bacolod | Monday Convocation Highlights 🩺

Today, the Rural Health Unit (RHU) Bacolod hosted the weekly Monday Convocation. Our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Teresa M. Reponte, shared several key milestones and upcoming initiatives:

⭐ Top 1 in Lanao del Norte – Bacolod has been recognized as the Top 1 Implementer of PuroKalusugan (PK) in the entire province. This achievement reflects our commitment to bringing healthcare closer to every home.

📍 Expanding Services – New PuroKalusugan sites will soon be established to further improve health accessibility in our barangays.

💪 Employee Wellness – In coordination with the HRMO, we are preparing a Health and Wellness Activity for all municipal employees. The final date will be announced soon.

Behind every training is a heart willing to serve more.

One of our RHU staff proudly completed the Tuberculin Skin Testing Training for the implementation of Drug-Susceptible and Drug-Resistant TB Preventive Treatment under the DOH National Tuberculosis Program, held on March 24–27, 2026 at Pearlmont Hotel, CDO.

This is not just an achievement, it is a promise to bring stronger, better, and more compassionate care to every Bacolodnon.

With pride and a grateful heart, one of the staff of RHU Bacolod has successfully completed the Adolescent Job Aid Skills Enhancement Training held last March 24–27, 2026 at Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

This journey was not just about learning but about deepening our commitment to the youth we serve. Every lesson gained is a step closer to understanding, guiding, and empowering our adolescents to become healthier and stronger individuals.

We carry these learnings forward with passion and purpose for the betterment of every young life in our community. 💙

Strengthening healthcare through digital innovation 📱

The Rural Health Unit of Bacolod, Lanao del Norte proudly received a tablet from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) a valuable tool that will help enhance and streamline health services for our community.

This milestone was made possible in the presence of our Provincial Governor Mohammad Khalid Q. Dimaporo, DICT Regional Director Region X, Board Member Dr. Bob C. Andot, and the Provincial Administrator.

Smile without Cavity, Smile without Worry 🦷✨

In celebration of Oral Health Month, the Rural Health Unit of Bacolod successfully conducted a Dental Outreach Program in Brgy. Kahayag, Bacolod, Lanao del Norte, today, February 12, 2026. Under the dedicated leadership of Dr. Teresa Reponte, our team worked hard to ensure that quality dental care reaches our community members.

We believe that a healthy community starts with a healthy smile. Proper oral care is vital for overall health, preventing infections, and boosting the confidence of our children and adults alike! 😀

We are proud to share the impact of today’s outreach:

• 56 Patients received necessary tooth extractions (from Kahayag, Babalaya and Alegria).
• 196 Students were protected with fluoride applications.

A huge thank you to the Provincial Health Office Dental team for their support, led by Dr. Cristie Joy Indoc, and to Dr. Estela Jutba - Oral Health Coordinator, for making this initiative possible.

Together, we are building a healthier, tooth-ache-free Bacolod! 💙

May mga naririnig ba kayong mga maling kwento o usap-usapan tungkol sa bakuna na kumakalat sa social media? Mula sa mga kwento tungkol sa "nanobots" hanggang sa mga maling impormasyon tungkol sa epekto nito sa ating kalusugan—kami sa Bacolod RHU ay narito para ibigay sa inyo ang KATOTOHANAN.

I-swipe left ⬅️ ang aming Myth-Busting Series upang malaman ang tamang impormasyon base sa siyensya. Huwag nating hayaang ang maling impormasyon ang maglagay sa panganib sa ating mga anak. Protektahan natin sila laban sa sakit na Tipdas (Measles) at Rubella!

UPDATE SA ATING MR-SIA 2026 CAMPAIGN:

✅ KAMPANYA AY TULOY-TULOY: Matagumpay ang ating mga isinasagawang operasyon sa ating bayan! Maraming salamat sa lahat ng mga magulang na nagpakita ng malasakit at nagpabakuna na ng kanilang mga anak. Ang inyong suporta ang susi sa kaligtasan ng ating komunidad.

Ang ating mga health workers ay patuloy na iikot upang masiguro na ang bawat bata sa ating bayan ay protektado. Ang bakuna ay nagsisilbing taming (shield) nila laban sa mga delikadong komplikasyon ng sakit. Ito ay LIBRE, LIGTAS, at EPEKTIBO para sa lahat.

Tandaan natin:
1. Maging Mapanuri: Huwag agad maniwala sa mga post sa social media na walang malinaw o opisyal na basehan.
2. Magtanong sa Eksperto: Kung may duda o katanungan, direktang magtanong sa ating mga Nurses, Midwives, o BHWs sa inyong barangay.
3. Impormasyon ay Kaligtasan: Ang tamang impormasyon ay nakakapagligtas ng buhay; ang fake news ay nagdadala ng panganib.

Magkaisa tayo para sa isang komunidad na ligtas, malusog, at malaya sa Tipdas!

Matagumpay nating natapos ang Day 2 ng ating MR-SIA campaign sa Barangay Delabayan West. Sukran (Salamat) sa lahat ng mga magulang na nagpakita ng malasakit at nagpabakuna ng kanilang mga anak. Pinatunayan ninyo na ang kaligtasan ng ating mga wata (mga anak) ang inyong prayoridad! 👏💙

MGA TAGA-BARANGAY DIMARAO, HANDA NA BA KAYO?

Bukas, Thursday (January 22), ang inyong Team Ice Tapay ay bibisita naman sa inyong barangay! 🚐💉

Para sa ating mga kapatid sa Dimarao:
Ang bakunang ito ay hindi lamang basta gamot—ito ay kapiyaan (kabutihan) at proteksyon para sa kinabukasan ng ating mga anak. Huwag pong hayaang maligaw tayo ng mga maling balita o fake news sa internet.

Bakit kailangang magpabakuna bukas?
✅ Ligtas at Subok: Ang bakuna laban sa Tipdas at Rubella ay proteksyon sa ating mga mahal sa buhay.
✅ Libre: Handog ito ng gobyerno para sa kalusugan ng bawat bata sa Bacolod.
✅ Malasakit: Ang Team Ice Tapay ay narito para gabayan kayo at sagutin ang inyong mga katanungan.

Kita-kits tayo bukas sa Barangay Dimarao! Ihanda na ang inyong mga anak para sa isang masigla at malusog na kinabukasan. In Shaa Allah, magiging matagumpay ang ating layunin na walang batang maiiwan.
