Protect Your Vision: Firecracker Safety Do’s and Don’ts

DO:

✅ ️Keep a safe distance from firecrackers and fireworks displays.

✅️ Wear protective eyewear if you’re lighting fireworks.

✅ ️Supervise children around fireworks at all times.

DON’T:

❌ ️Don’t handle malfunctioning firecrackers; dispose of them safely.

❌️ Don’t point fireworks at people, animals, or structures.

❌️ Don’t attempt to relight a firecracker that didn’t ignite properly.

Fireworks-related eye injuries can cause serious vision impairments, including burns, cuts, or even permanent vision loss. These injuries are entirely preventable with proper caution.
