Copied and pasted ...

This is a real neck Xray of a patient who accidentally swallowed his denture.๐Ÿ˜ฑ

A GENTLE REMINDER TO OUR DENTURE WEARERS TO AVOID DENTURE INGESTION:

1) Please remove your denture everytime you sleep and soak it with an antimicrobial solution. You can put it back when you're fully awake.๐Ÿฅฑ And not drunk!๐Ÿ˜•
2) If your denture is broken, bring it to your DENTIST for repair or replacement.
3) If your denture is loose, go see your DENTIST for relining or adjustment or replacement.
4) In case you will undergo surgery that will render you unconscious or sedated, make sure you remove your denture prior to the procedure.
5) Personally I don't advice DENTIST to make a removable denture of any kind for patients with mental illness, instead I will advice dental Implant, or a good fixed bridge to cover the missing dentition.
6) And if all of these fail and you accidentally swallow your denture. Go to the nearest hospital and call an ENT SPECIALIST - HEAD AND NECK SURGEON! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ˜‰

This can be life threatening if taken for granted. Stay safe everyone.๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธโค๏ธ

On Cancelling Dental Appointments...
(Why you should not cancel your dental appointment and how to properly do a cancellation)

1. Dentist's Time - Everyone's time is important. However, the dentists give their time to treat you.
2. Priority - if you have an appointment, the dentistโ€™s priority is YOU!
3. Preparations - all the materials used, the effort to prepare will be in vain if you will not show up.
4. 2 Days Before - the best way for you to cancel your appointment is to inform the dental office 2 days before.
5. Chance for Other patients - if you are busy, cancelling 2 days before your schedule will give an opportunity for the dentist to schedule a new appointment. A lot of people is waiting for that slot that you cancelled.

**We all have something important to attend to, but you gave us your commitment we just need your cooperation. In this time of crisis, we need each other's help.

Stay Safe! โ˜บ๏ธ

Health Sec. Duque recently announced that dentists can resume operations but with strict health compliance. With that in mind, we are sorry to announce that OUR CLINIC IS NOT YET COVID- READY. Numbers of covid + are rising, most are asymptomatic and there is no mass testing yet and we have to treat everyone as PUM's even after triaging procedures. The PDA came up with protocols and proper clinic set-up to ensure the safety of everyone. Please allow us time to modify our clinic and to purchase necessary equipments like filters, proper ppe's, etc; which are hard to come by because of limited supply, lacking manpower and restricted movement brought about by the ECQ. Most of our procedures are aerosol generating thus careful modifications and adjustments are necessary to prevent cross-contamination
(we have families to think about and to care for). Please bear with us at these trying times. You can PM us if you need to consult.
Thank you.
