🇹🇭Thammasat University Hospital is a government/public hospital in Thailand, which has the facilities and quality of the private hospitals in the country (it is comparable to St. Lukes, Asian Hospital, The Medical city etc).

While doing the hospital exposure, sabi ko sa sarili ko, "Kailan kaya, mararanasan ng mga Pilipino ang ganito".

Filipinos deserve this kind of health care, clean, complete, holistic, expert, top-notched. Hay, kailan kaya.

WHAT DO WE SEE?__COLONIC POLYP‼️

1. _What are colon polyps?
Colon polyps are growths on the inner lining of the colon or re**um. They can be benign (non-cancerous) or cancerous.

2. _Types of colon polyps_
- Adenomatous polyps (can become cancerous)
- Hyperplastic polyps (usually benign)
- Sessile serrated polyps (can become cancerous)

3. _Causes and risk factors_
- Age (increased risk after 50)
- Family history of colon polyps or cancer
- Genetic syndromes (e.g., FAP, Lynch syndrome)
- Diet high in red meat, low in fiber
- Smoking
- Obesity

4. _Symptoms_
Often none, but possible:
- Re**al bleeding
- Changes in bowel habits
- Abdominal pain

5. _Diagnosis_
- Colonoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- CT colonography
- FIT/FOBT

6. _Treatment_
- Removal during colonoscopy
- Surgery for larger or cancerous polyps

7. _Prevention_
- Regular screening
- Healthy diet (high fiber, low red meat)
- Exercise
- Maintain healthy weight

8. _Importance of screening_
Regular screening can detect and remove polyps before they become cancerous.
