Organized under the ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ โ ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ข๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ (๐ก๐ข๐๐ฃ), this yearโs congress continued to spark conversations on how organic farming can thrive as both a sustainable and economically empowering industry.
As part of the day-long program, participants toured ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ค๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐, where they discovered a showcase of medicinal plants, essential oils, HACCP-certified dried herbs, and other proudly homegrown Herbanext innovations. Herbanext President ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฝ ๐๐ฟ๐๐ kicked off the tour with fascinating insights on key medicinal herbs like Sambong, Banaba, and Roselle and shared our ongoing work with DOSTโs ๐ง๐๐ธ๐น๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐ป๐ฎ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บโa research initiative aimed at unlocking the health potential of local botanicals.
From there, guests freely explored a series of 5 interactive stations featuring a variety of essential oils, Elemi resin, introductions to Banaba varieties, herb tasting sessions, a visit to the greenhouse and edible garden, and a relaxing walk among notable trees such as Bitaog and Bago. Each stop highlighted the beautiful connection between nature, science, and sustainable farmingโgiving visitors a closer look at how organic agriculture comes alive on the ground.
The day ended with meaningful conversations, new connections, and a shared appreciation for the role of organic agriculture in building a healthier, more sustainable future.
