However, there are some habits you can change to lessen the discomfort and aching. Here are top 5 mistakes when you are experiencing jaw pain:

#1: Don’t Chew Gum
This small habit provides your jaw with an actual exercise, as it needs to open and close continuously for long periods of time. If you are already susceptible to TMJ disorder, that creates a situation for significant discomfort.
