Her work ensures that timely, science-based, and localized health information reaches the community, empowering every Baguio resident to take part in building a healthier city.

We must use our voices to ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ž ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ, ๐๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž.

As medical students, it is our duty to ๐š๐๐ฏ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ through all aspects of the continuum of careโ€”from health promotion to illness prevention and treatment. We must support research and innovation for dengue vaccines, engage in public education to fight misinformation especially in terms of vaccine hesitancy, and work with local leaders to ensure that prevention measures reach those who need them most.

Finally, let us not forget to continuously push for changes to the Philippine healthcare system to ensure that each and every Filipino gets access to the quality treatment they deserve when they need itโ€”be it for dengue or not. Let us work together to stand as leaders in healthcare, pushing for innovation, accessibility, and equity.

Mission and Vision

The FPHHR (SLU) believes that the students are the major influence in the future of health care and medical education, and should therefore play an active role in its development. It promotes the social responsibility among medical students, and aims to contribute to the creation of compassionate, competent and community oriented future physicians.

In the light of holistic growth and โ€œHealth for All,โ€ the FPHHR (SLU) is committed to leadership in learning and service to the society with advocacies and campaigns focused on the WHO definition of Health as โ€œa state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmityโ€ and as a โ€œfundamental right of every human being.โ€
