Please be advised that old banknote series launched in 1985 can still be used for daily transaction up to DECEMBER 31, 2015 only. This means that we can no longer accept payments using old banknotes starting 01 JANUARY 2016.

From 01 JANUARY 2016 - 31 DECEMBER 2016, old banknotes can still be exchanged thru authorized financial institution (universal and commercial banks, thrift banks) or to any regional offices/branches of BSP at full face value without charge.

Starting 01 January 2017 old banknotes that have not been exchanged shall no longer have any monetary value and considered demonetized.
