As we continue to move forward in our goal to become a Greener Hospital, we celebrate World Environmental Health Day this 26 September 2025. 🌎

Advocating for more sustainable practices, we make sure to secure the surroundings of our patients with eco-friendly initiatives. Some of these are having our Water is Life stations accessible around the hospital, implementing a zero-plastic policy, and many more. 💚

Here at SLU-SHMC, we acknowledge the impact and connection the environment has on our stakeholders. Join us in creating a cleaner, better, and safer future in the medical field. 🤝

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲🙌💊

After the Pharmacists’ dose of fun with their Zumba exercise activity, they held games, snacks, and a photobooth at the lobby of the Immaculate Heart Building at Saint Louis University - Sacred Heart Medical Center, on September 25, 2025. 🎊

As part of a vibrant and engaging celebration, a variety of interactive booths have been set up not only for SLU-SHMC employees but also for hospital visitors. These booths are designed to both entertain and educate players through fun games and exciting prizes. ✨🎮

Guests can participate in games such as:
🗺️Guess the Country: highlights the different countries where pharmacists are allowed to administer vaccines practice
🔎Reyal or Fa-ke?: debunking common pharmacy myths; a trivia game that mixes pop culture, general medical knowledge and many more!
👀Role Reversal: lets participants experience being in the shoes of a pharmacist, gaining insight into their essential role.

And many more educational and engaging activities! Visitors can also enjoy complimentary bread and coffee while capturing memories at the photobooth. 📸

To celebrate World Pharmacists' Day, Slushmcpharmacy Dept got moving with a fun Zumba session at the 4th floor parking area of the SLU Medical Arts Building.
