Bais District Hospital successfully passed the final assessment of the Ligtas Christmas Campaign!

This milestone was made possible through the evaluation of the Department of Health Negros Island Region Center for Health Development (DOH NIR CHD) Team, led by Asst. Regional Director Adrian Hort D. Ramos, whose leadership continues to strengthen health systems across the region.

Courtesy calls were made to Bais City mayor Luigi Goñi Luigi Marcel T. Goni, who warmly welcomed the team; And Dr Mark Aranas, Chief of Hospital for Bais District Hospital.

With this successful assessment, We are now ready to respond to fireworks-related injuries, road crash injuries and emergencies such as asthma, stroke, and coronary artery disease (CAD).

This is more than passing an assessment — it’s a promise of readiness, resilience, and compassion. Families across Bais and Neighboring towns can celebrate the holidays with peace of mind, knowing that we are ready and prepared.
