Children with poor Spatial Awareness may not understand the distance between objects within their environment. This comes into play within the classroom when kids need to learn how to:

🎓Respect personal space and boundaries of others

If a toddler never throws tantrums, tests limits, or pushes boundaries, it might seem like a dream come true — but in reality, it can be a sign of concern rather than pride.

Toddlers are naturally wired to explore their independence, assert control, and understand how the world works.

This process often shows up as defiance, emotional outbursts, or risk-taking behavior. These moments are not “bad behavior” — they’re healthy, age-appropriate signs of emotional and cognitive growth.

When a child tests limits, they’re learning about consequences, boundaries, and emotional regulation.

A consistently quiet, compliant toddler who never expresses frustration or curiosity may be holding back emotionally or lacking confidence to explore.

So, while tantrums can be exhausting, they’re also proof that your little one feels safe enough to express big feelings and is developing exactly as they should.
