🔴DUGOod: Share Blood. Save Lives.

A joint initiative by the Rural Health Unit under the Local Government Unit of Balingasag and the League of Young Catalysts, in partnership with Philippine Red Cross Misamis Oriental - Cagayan de Oro Chapter.

In every drop of blood lies the power to save a life — and DUGOod is here to make sure that power flows from the youth to those in need.

DUGOod is more than just a blood donation drive. It is a youth-led, community-rooted program that aims to build a sustainable and ready pool of young blood donors through partnership, education, and civic action.

Launched under the CIVIC+ program, DUGOod is designed to respond to blood shortages by mobilizing young people to be everyday heroes — one donation at a time.

This July 3, 2025, we officially kick off this life-giving movement at Balay Silangan, Balingasag. Join us, give blood, and give others the gift of another tomorrow.

You have the power to heal. The courage to give. The heart to DUGOod. ✨

Every drop you give is a promise — that someone, somewhere, gets another chance at life. 🤍

Maayong Adlaw Balingasag!

Ang Atong Buhatan sa Rural Health Unit of Balingasag buot magpahibalo nga ang atung mga kaubang Nurses, Rural Health Midwives ug ubang personnel magahatag ug medical assistance alang sa Provincial Meet 2025 isip tubag sa hangyo gikan sa Department of Education. Kani mahitabo sugod ugma January 30, 2025 hangtud February 01, 2025.

Bisan paman niana, padayon kitang magahatag ug serbisyong panlawas alang sa atung nga katawhan. Aduna kitay mga Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Health Assistants nga maoy magakuha sa mga importanteng datos ug magahimo ug referral notes sa mga nagkinahanglan ug konsultasyon sa atung RHU facility. Daghang Salamat ug Dasig lang! 🙂

National Goiter Week!!!

Ang Buhatan sa Rural Health Unit of Balingasag ubos sa Suporta sa Local Government Unit of Balingasag padayon nga nagahatag ug libreng serbisyong panglawas alang sa atung mga pasyenteng adunay sintomas sa Goiter. Pinaagi usab sa Budgetary Allocation on MOOE on laboratory reagents, ang RHU Balingasag aduna nay libreng test para sa Thyroid Panel. Tinguha kani nga maibsan ang gastong financial sa atung mga pasyente ilabi na ang atung mga katagilungsod.

Padayon usab kitang nagahatag ug mga tambal sama sa Propylthiouracil (PTU) ug Levothyroxine alang sa atung mga pasyente sa atung RHU Pharmacy. Libre kani ug gikan kani sa Lokal nga Pangagamhanan.

Aduna ba kamoy mga sintomas nga gibati? Duol lamang sa mga Barangay Health Stations, mga Nurses, Midwives, ug Registered and Accredited Barangay Health Workers ug Barangay Health Assistants aron matagaan ug tumang Assessment, Referral, and Management. Daghang Salamat ug Dasig lang!! 💛💚🤍

A TRUE WIN FOR OUR HEALTH FRONTLINERS!!!

Daghang Salamat Honorable John M. Romualdo, Municipal Councilor and Chairman of the Committee on Health in the municipality of Balingasag. Author of SB Ordinance No. 23, S. 2024 "AN ORDINANCE STRENGTHENING THE BARANGAY HEALTH WORKERS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALINGASAG THROUGH REGISTRATION AND/OR ACCREDITATION, AND PROVIDING PROTECTION FROM UNDUE TERMINATION, APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES"

Ang maong municipal ordinance gidawat ug giaprobahan human masusi nga balido sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan sa Misamis Oriental. Kini isa ka tiunay nga kadaogan sa tanang Barangay Health Workers nga walay puas ang paghatag ug serbisyong panlawas alang sa katawhan sa Lungsod Balingasag.

Kalakip sa maong ordinansa (Section 6) ang Registration and Accreditation Committee nga gilangkuban sa Municipal Health Officer, NGO/People's Organization, BHW Federated President, DOH Representative ug BHW Coordinator ug pinanguluhan sa Chair of the Local Health Board na walay lain kundili ang Municipal Mayor sa Lungsod Balingasag nga maoy magahatag sa appointment sa atung BHWs.

Anaa usab sa Section 10 sa maong ordinansa ang Protection Against Undue Termination ug Section 11 ang Grounds/Authorized Causes for Termination

Daghang Salamat usab Mayor Alexis S. Quina sa pag gahin ug pondo aron nga makab-ot ang 1BHW per 20 households nga ratio sa munisipyo. Padayon kita sa pagdawat, pag screen, ug pagtrain sa mga gustong mamahimong BHWs ug maghatag ug tiunay nga serbisyo alang sa mga katawhan sa Lungsod, Balingasag.
