𝗗𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗲𝗮𝘆𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗼𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱.

The Banga RHU-PCF and PhilHealth successfully conducted the PhilHealth Alaga Ka Activity last October 24, 2025 at the Banga Municipal Dome, Poblacion, Banga, Aklan.

Our kasimanwas benefited from:
• ✅ Free consultations and primary health services
• ✅ Essential PhilHealth updates and benefit orientation
• ✅ First-patient encounter, Registration and assistance for new and existing members.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to our dedicated staff and partners for making this event a success! Together, let's prioritize the health of every Banganhon resident.

LOOK | Banga shines once again as it proudly bags 2nd Place for Top Performing Municipality in Aklan! 🌟

The Banga Peer Educators proudly joined the Peer Educators’ Summit Year 3 with the theme “Malaya Akong Maging...” held last August 28, 2025, at the Aklan Tourism and Training Center.

Our passionate youth representatives showcased their talents, voices, and advocacy in various competitions alongside fellow peer educators from across the province:

🎭 Mr. and Ms. Peer Educators Summit Year 3 — John Matt Salvador and Mitz Junea Rapiz
🎥 Advocacy Video Contest — Jelmar Dela Cruz, Dhanela Lorraine Beltran, and Argie Retiro
👯 Peer Educators Got Talent — Jelmar Dela Cruz, Princess Isturis, Princess Gmyka Dela Cruz, Jove Reloj, and Catherine Joy Unic
🧠 Population Quiz Bee — Joci Anne Guzman and Cheena Gutierrez (who proudly clinched 1st Place!)

Adding to the celebration, the Tabok Peer Educators Club earned 3rd Place, while Torralba National High School Peer Educators Club triumphed as the Top Performing School-Based Peer Educators Club in Aklan!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Gov. Jose Enrique Miraflores, the Aklan Provincial Population and Gender Office headed by Jeany Raco, PGADH, our ever-supportive MHO Dr. Samuel Teodosio, AHD Coordinator Ma’am Stanelly Rose Lima, RN, and Asst. AHD Coordinator Ma’am Elisa Pronton for their constant guidance and encouragement from preparation up to the big event.

The LGU Banga extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the selfless individuals who participated in our Mobile Blood Donation Activity at Brgy. Agbanawan, Banga, Aklan. Done in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross - Aklan Chapter and the dedicated Agbanawan Barangay Council, this initiative secured vital blood units that will directly support patients and families across our province.

Your few minutes of kindness translate into a second chance at life for someone in urgent need. This is community service at its purest form!

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀! 📚

The Aklan Provincial Health Office, in partnership with the Department of Health – Provincial and Regional Offices, successfully conducted the Provincial Training of Trainers for the Healthy Learning Institution (HLI) program!

The training brought together school nurses from the Department of Education–Aklan and DOH HLI focal persons from each District Health System — all united in building schools that care for both mind and body.

This initiative will soon roll out in 30 Last Mile Schools across Aklan, promoting healthier, more supportive, and nurturing environments for learners and educators.

Aklan unites health and education to empower every learner, school, and community. Healthy Aklanon learners are better learners. 💪

Ang mga kabataan at senior citizen ang karaniwang tinatamaan ng ILI sa mga gatherings; mas madalas din silang makaranas ng mga komplikasyon ng mga sakit na ito.

Para makaiwas sa sakit, narito ang ilang mga paalala:

💦 Painumin lagi ng tubig ang mga bata

😷 Hikayatin si lolo at lola na magsuot ng mask

🙅‍♂️ Iwasang isama ang mga bata sa masisikip at matataong lugar

🧼 Ugaliing maghugas o magsanitize ng kamay

🏠 Manatili sa bahay kung may sintomas ng trangkaso
