Nasa 260 na ang ka*o ng rabies sa bansa mula January hanggang September 20, 2025. Nasa 95% ng mga ka*ong ito ay kinasasangkutan ng mga hayop na hindi bakunado o may unknown vaccination status.

Paalala ng DOH na pabakunahan taun-taon ang inyong alaga bilang proteksyon ng inyong alaga at ng inyong sarili laban sa rabies virus.

Ilan pa sa paalala ng DOH:
โœ… Irehistro ang mga a*o at pusa sa inyong barangay.
โœ… โ€™Wag hayaang gumala nang walang bantay ang mga alaga.
โœ… Magpatingin agad sa Animal Bite Treatment Center kung makagat o makalmot ng alagang hayop.

If bitten by a dog ๐Ÿถ, always seek immediate medical advice.

The wound must be immediately and thoroughly washed for at least 15 minutes with soap and water. Then visit a clinic, as you may need post-exposure vaccination!

๐Ÿ’‰ Pabakunahan ang alagang a*o at pusa:
Siguraduhing taon-taon nababakunahan laban sa rabies ang inyong mga a*o at pusa.
Bantayan ang mga alaga at huwag hayaang gumala nang walang supervision. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿˆ

๐Ÿ›‘ Iwas-Kagat Tips:
Huwag basta lumapit o manggulo ng hindi kilalang a*o at pusa. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ
Turuan ang mga bata na huwag mang-asar o kulitin ang mga alaga. ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ฆ

๐Ÿšจ Kung Nakagat o Nakalmot:
๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿงผ Hugasan agad ang sugat gamit ang sabon at umaagos na tubig sa loob ng 10-15 minuto.
๐Ÿฅ Magpatingin agad sa health center para sa tamang lunas at bakuna. I-scan ang QR code para sa listahan ng mga Animal Bite & Treatment Centers (ABTC)
