Today, YLAH proudly took part in the First Aid & Basic Life Support Development Training, a comprehensive lecture and hands-on demonstration focused on strengthening the emergency response capabilities of student leaders and volunteers.

The training gathered representatives from YLAH, the Student Government, Mandated Organizations, and Accredited Organizations, uniting everyone in a shared commitment to safety, preparedness, and proactive leadership within the campus community.

This event was made possible through the collaboration of YLAH and the Student Government in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, who facilitated essential life-saving lessons—including CPR, patient assessment, proper handling, and immediate first aid procedures.

As an organization grounded in service and volunteerism, YLAH remains steadfast in promoting readiness, compassion, and community responsibility.

𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮, 𝙐𝘼𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨? 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙨 2025: 𝘐𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵, 𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯! 𝘑𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘶𝘯 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴.

From October 10–12, 2025, student leaders from the ASIST-Bangued Campus, representing the Youth Leaders and Advocates for Health (YLAH) and the Student Government (SG), proudly participated in the Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health Philippines (VYLH-PH) Cordillera Administrative Region Youth Camp held at Ritz Legarda Hotel, Baguio City.

With the inspiring theme “Embracing Our Shared Purpose,” the three-day camp united passionate youth from different institutions with one goal — to promote health, leadership, and volunteerism in their respective communities. 💚

Throughout the camp, participants engaged in meaningful learning sessions, dynamic workshops, and interactive activities led by regional and national health advocates, including representatives from DOH-CAR, VYLH-PH, and the Newborn Screening Center Central Luzon. They deepened their understanding of vital health advocacies such as folic acid awareness, newborn screening, family planning, and rare diseases.
Beyond the lectures, team-building games and cultural exchanges fostered camaraderie, unity, and a shared passion for service. ✨

As the camp concluded, ASIST leaders showcased the rich culture of Abra through a vibrant cultural presentation,proudly representing their heritage and values. With renewed dedication and purpose, they return home as empowered health advocates — ready to implement their advocacies, raise awareness, and live by the belief that “Health is a shared responsibility.” 💪🌍

Work (All Government Offices/Agencies): SUSPENDED tomorrow, September 22, 2025.

- Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) are advised for continuity.

- Exempted: Health Services, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Emergency Response personnel must remain on duty.

The suspension is intended to give everyone time to prepare for the typhoon. To the Public: Those living in high-risk or hazard-prone areas are strongly advised to follow the directives of local officials regarding evacuation. Prioritize safety above all.
