✨The Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET) Abra Chapter formally inducted its newly elected officers for the term 2026–2027 through a virtual oath-taking ceremony, highlighting leadership, unity, and commitment to service despite the distance.

The program formally opened with the welcome remarks delivered by Dr. Lilibeth B. Martin, the outgoing President of the PAMET Abra Chapter. In her message, she warmly welcomed the officers, members, and guests and expressed her sincere gratitude for the support and cooperation extended to her during her term. She reflected on the chapter’s accomplishments and challenges, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and shared responsibility in strengthening the organization.

Following the welcome remarks, the Pledge of Commitment was led by Mr. Edison Ramos, during which the newly elected officers collectively affirmed their dedication to serve with professionalism, accountability, and unity. The pledge underscored their commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and meaningful service to both the PAMET Abra Chapter and the community.

The ceremony continued with the oath of office, administered by Ms. Luella Vertucio, marking the official assumption of duties of the newly elected officers. Through the oath, they pledged to faithfully discharge their responsibilities, uphold the Constitution and By-Laws of PAMET, and serve the profession and the public with honesty and competence.

The virtual oath-taking ceremony symbolized a renewed commitment to excellence and service as the PAMET Abra Chapter officers for the 2026–2027 term begin their leadership journey, guided by professionalism, collaboration, and dedication to the medical technology profession.

ATTENTION PAMET ABRA Chapter!

This is to notify the members that the filing of candidacy for the PAMET Abra Election for its officrrd is now open until December 20, 2025, 11:59 PM.

The date of ABRA elections among its active members is from December 23-26,2025. The election shall be held electronically and face to face.

Only qualified members as per the PAMET Constitution and by-laws may cast their votes.

All interested parties must secure and submit a Certificate of Candidacy (COC) and Biodata can be downloaded here:

The Committee on Election en banc is informing the general membership of the results of the national election of the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET), held in accordance with Article X of the 2024 PAMET Constitution and By-Laws and the 2025 PAMET Election Code, on December 2-3, 2025. The results of the election for the Association's national officers are also provided, as specified in Article V of the same constitution.

🩸 PAMET Abra Promotes HIV/AIDS Awareness Among the Youth! 🌟

As part of PAMET Abra’s commitment to health education, Ma’am Lilibeth Martin, RMT, MM, PhD, PAMET Abra Chapter President, served as the resource speaker in a two-day HIV/AIDS awareness campaign held on November 5 at Abra High School and November 6 at the Municipality of Boliney.

Students showed great curiosity and eagerness to learn, actively participating in discussions about HIV prevention, testing, and the importance of breaking the stigma. ❤️

This initiative reflects PAMET Abra’s dedication to bringing health awareness and compassion from the laboratory to the community. 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

This is to notify the general membership that the filing of candidacy for the 2025 PAMET National Elections for its national officers and board trustees is now open until 05 November 2025, 03:00 pm (Philippine Standard Time).

The PAMET National Elections is scheduled on December 02-03, 2025, during the 61st PAMET National Annual Convention. Further details will be announced in due course.

Only qualified PAMET members as per the 2022 PAMET Constitution and By-Laws and as embodied in the 2025 PAMET Election Code may run for office or cast their votes.

All interested parties must secure and submit a Certificate of Candidacy (COC). Documents pertinent to the elections can be accessed via this online link: https://bit.ly/pametelections2025.

All proceedings of the PAMET Committee on Election, including the conduct of the 2025 PAMET National Elections, are governed by the 2025 PAMET Election Code.

🧼 PAMET Abra Joins Purokalusugan in Langiden, Abra! 🤝

The Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET) – Abra Chapter once again took part in the Purokalusugan activity in collaboration with the Department of Health – Abra and the Philippine Red Cross – Abra Chapter, held at Brgy. Quilliat, Langiden, Abra, and headed by Ma’am Lilibeth Martin, RMT, MM, Ph-D.

PAMET Abra members actively assisted in the laboratory area, ensuring that accurate and quality health services were delivered to the community. Their commitment reflects the vital role of medical technologists in promoting public health and wellness.

During the outreach, PAMET Abra also distributed Safeguard soaps provided by National Headquarters, under the leadership of PAMET National President Luella A. Vertucio, to promote proper hand hygiene among residents.

Children were encouraged and taught to practice handwashing—a simple yet powerful act to prevent disease and stay healthy. 🩺💧

Together, we continue to uphold the PAMET mission of fostering a healthier and safer Abra! 💚
