Thank you to all our dedicated Bangui District Hospital staff — nurses, dental, administrative, and support personnel — who joined our short lecture on breast cancer awareness. Together, we learned how early detection, timely treatment, and community support can make a life-saving difference.

In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Bangui District Hospital family came together for a beautiful day of praise, reflection, and prayer.

Through this special activity, held in partnership with the Northern Ilocandia Mission District of The United Methodist Church, we were reminded of the power of faith and community in nurturing our mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

✨ A Milestone for Public Health in the North! ✨

Today, Bangui District Hospital inaugurated its state-of-the-art 64-slice GE Revolution Maxima CT Scan Unit—a first for the northern towns of Ilocos Norte. 🏥

This advanced facility will bring faster, more accurate, and life-saving diagnostics closer to home for patients in Bangui, Burgos, Pagudpud, Dumalneg, Adams, and nearby communities. No more long travels—timely care is now within reach. 🙌

This blessing was made possible through the unwavering support of Hon. Cong. Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos, and the Department of Health through the HFEP.

Above all, we give thanks to God for guiding this milestone in His plan for a stronger, better Bangui District Hospital. 🙏

The CT SCAN Unit of Bangui District Hospital is now open.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art 64-slice GE Revolution Maxima CT Scanner, this facility will provide timely, accurate, and life-saving diagnostics for patients in Bangui and nearby communities.

This milestone was made possible through the support of Hon. Cong. Sandro Marcos and the DOH Health Facility Enhancement Program (HFEP).

The world-renowned Singapore General Hospital, together with PGIN and MMMH&MC Orthopedics, will be here in Ilocos Norte for a FREE Surgical Mission this October 9–11, 2025!

📍 Screening is now ongoing at the MMMH&MC Orthopedic OPD.

📣 Nutrition Month Celebration at Bangui District Hospital! 🥦🍎

On July 24, 2025, our Nutritionist-Dietitian, Ms. Hetzber Ann Catayao, delivered an engaging and informative talk in line with this year’s Nutrition Month theme:

“Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”

She emphasized that access to safe, sufficient, and nutritious food is a basic human right—and a shared responsibility.

Key messages included:
✅ Access to affordable, nutritious food is a right of every Filipino
✅ Support local farmers and food producers
✅ Grow your own food through community and household gardens
✅ Reduce food waste with mindful habits
✅ Promote good nutrition from the first 1,000 days of life

Participants enjoyed a lively Q&A portion and went home with fresh fruits and vegetables as prizes—fun and healthy!

Nitong ika 18 ng Hunyo 2025, naghandog ng kaalaman at impormasyon tungkol sa Family planning sina Dr. Iris Rae C. Santos, Dr. Rosana Garvida at Ma’am Wilsie Edu isang midwife ng Bangui District Hospital.

Nang itanong ang mga madla, kung ano ang unang pumapasok sa kanilang isipan pag narinig ang salitang Family Planning, ayon sa kanila ito ay ang pagtigil sa pagkakaroon ng madaming anak o ang hindi na muling pagbubuntis ng kababaihan.

Ano nga ba ang Family Planning?

Ito ang pagkakaroon ng bilang ng mga anak kung kailangan, gusto at handa na ang isa pamilya. Tumutukoy din ito sa paggamit ng ligtas at epektibong modernong paraan, para maiwasan ang hindi inaasahang pagdadalang-tao ng isang babae.

Hindi lang ito ang benepisyo ng pagpaplano ng pamilya, nag bibigay-daan din ito para sa mag asawa na magkaroon ng mas maraming oras, maibigay ang mga pangangailangan at mapagkukunan para sa kanilang pamilya at personal na pag-unlad. (DOH)

Ang pagpaplano ng pamilya ay wag natin ipagbalewa, Tara usap tayo! bukas ang aming institusyon para tulungan kayo!
