🔴 CKD Awareness: Alagaan ang Iyong Mga Bato!

Ano ang Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)?
Ang Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) o Malalang Sakit sa Bato ay isang progresibong kondisyon kung saan ang ating mga bato ay unti-unting nawawalan ng kakayahang linisin ang dumi sa katawan. Dahil madalas itong walang sintomas sa maagang yugto, tinatawag itong “silent disease”—nalalaman lang ng karamihan kapag malala na ang pinsala.

Ano ang mga Sanhi at Panganib?
⚠️ Diabetes – Pinakakaraniwang dahilan ng CKD
⚠️ Altapresyon (high blood pressure) – Sumisira sa maliliit na ugat ng bato
⚠️ Maling pamumuhay – Labis na pagkain ng maalat, pag-inom ng alak, paninigarilyo
⚠️ Pag-inom ng labis na pain relievers o gamot nang walang reseta

Mga Sintomas ng CKD (Kapag Malala na ang Pinsala)
🚨 Pananakit ng likod o tagiliran
🚨 Pamamaga ng paa, kamay, o mukha
🚨 Matinding pagkapagod at panghihina
🚨 Ihi na may bula o may dugo
🚨 Hirap sa paghinga

Paano Maiiwasan ang CKD?
✅ Uminom ng sapat na tubig – Para matulungan ang bato sa pagsala ng dumi
✅ Kumain ng masustansya – Iwasan ang sobrang alat at matatabang pagkain
✅ Regular na magpacheck-up – Para maagapan kung may problema na sa bato
✅ Iwasan ang bisyo – Paninigarilyo at labis na pag-inom ng alak ay nakakasama sa bato
✅ Kontrolin ang diabetes at high blood pressure

Protektahan ang Iyong Bato!
Ang maagang pagtuklas at tamang pangangalaga ay makakatulong upang maiwasan ang paglala ng CKD. Huwag hintayin na lumala bago kumilos!

How to Access the 1st Edition of the Manual and Online Training Modules on Pharmaceutical Management for Primary Care

WHAT is Pharmaceutical Management for Primary Care (PMPC)?
The manual on Pharmaceutical Management for Primary Care consolidates policies, evidence-based practices, and guidelines in primary health care. It aims to strengthen the delivery of services in primary health care facilities by integrating public health standards, good pharmacy practices, and effective pharmaceutical supply chain management.

WHO is the PMPC for?
The PMPC can be used as a reference by primary healthcare providers, barangay health workers, public health managers, antimicrobial stewardship committee, pharmacy and therapeutics committee in primary care, other national government agencies, development and humanitarian partners, civil society organizations, research and academia, students, and other personnel involved in pharmaceutical supply chain management.
