In the initiative of Pangasinan Brotherhood, USA, Inc. (PBUSA) and Bayambang Association of Southern California (BASC), in collaboration with JKQ Medical and Wellness Center, Inc. and in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Bayambang, a Dental Talk and Feeding Program was successfully conducted at Don Teofilo C. Mataban Memorial School, Brgy. Ligue, Bayambang, Pangasinan.
The beneficiaries of the activity were school-age children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Through PBUSA, all students received free meals and dental kits generously donated by their community in the United States, along with nutritious food products sponsored by Nutridense Food Manufacturing Corp. Dental screening and fluoride application were also provided by the dentists of JKQ Medical and Wellness Center, Inc., ensuring both preventive care and early oral health assessment for the students.
The program formally opened with welcoming remarks and acknowledgment of partners by Ms. Sue Ann E. Tumakay, President of Pangasinan Brotherhood, USA, Inc. This was followed by an inspirational message from Atty. Arnel C. Glorioso, Hospital Administrator of JKQ Medical and Wellness Center, Inc. Dr. Estrella Q. Glorioso, President and CEO of JKQMWC, also shared her message, expressing heartfelt gratitude to PBUSA, the Local Government Unit of Bayambang, and the school community for their support and partnership.
An informative message was delivered by Hon. Raymund Camacho, Municipal Councilor of Bayambang, on behalf of Oscar Camacho, Business Manager of PBUSA. Short messages of appreciation and support were likewise given by Ms. Ella B. Macaraeg, PhD, Master Teacher I and OIC School Head of Don Teofilo C. Mataban Memorial School, and Mr. Racky D. Doctor, President of Nutridense Food Manufacturing Corp.
The Dental Health Lecture was led by Dr. Beah Bautista, Head Dentist of JKQMWC, who discussed proper oral hygiene practices, the importance of regular dental check-ups, and preventive oral care. The session was made more engaging through interactive questions and fun learning activities, where students actively participated and received prizes, reinforcing key dental health concepts in an enjoyable and memorable way.
This initiative reflects JKQ Medical and Wellness Center, Inc.’s commitment to extending care beyond hospital walls—bringing healthcare closer to the community through compassion, collaboration, and meaningful engagement. Through sustained partnerships, JKQMWC continues to promote health awareness, preventive care, and accessible services that contribute to better patient experience and stronger community connections. The institution remains steadfast in its mission to deliver quality healthcare, empower communities through education, and make essential health services more inclusive and accessible.
