It’s flu and virus season — please be extra careful around babies and young children.
Many people don’t realize that a simple kiss, sneeze, or cough can easily spread viruses like flu, RSV, or cold sores, which can be dangerous for babies. Their immune systems are still developing, and even a mild cold for an adult can become serious for them.
Here’s how we can protect our little ones:
✅ Avoid kissing babies on the face, hands, or feet — even if you’re close family.
✅ Wash or sanitize your hands before touching them.
✅ Stay home or keep your distance if you’re not feeling well.
✅ Always cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
Parents — it’s okay to kindly remind others not to kiss or touch your baby. It’s not about being overprotective; it’s about keeping your child safe.
