Itβs flu and virus season β please be extra careful around babies and young children.
Many people donβt realize that a simple kiss, sneeze, or cough can easily spread viruses like flu, RSV, or cold sores, which can be dangerous for babies. Their immune systems are still developing, and even a mild cold for an adult can become serious for them.
Hereβs how we can protect our little ones:
β
Avoid kissing babies on the face, hands, or feet β even if youβre close family.
β
Wash or sanitize your hands before touching them.
β
Stay home or keep your distance if youβre not feeling well.
β
Always cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
Parents β itβs okay to kindly remind others not to kiss or touch your baby. Itβs not about being overprotective; itβs about keeping your child safe.
Letβs spread love, not germs. A small act of care can make a big difference for the tiniest hearts.
