Wound washing saves lives!

If bitten by a dog 🐶, always seek immediate medical advice.

The wound must be immediately and thoroughly washed for at least 15 minutes with soap and water. Then visit a clinic, as you may need post-exposure vaccination!

Iniulat ng Provincial Health Office (PHO) ng Zamboanga Sibugay ang unang kaso ng , dating monkeypox, sa probinsya.

Isang 3-anyos na bata na residente mula Tungawan ang tinamaan ng sakit. Kasalukuyan siyang nagpapagaling sa Dr. George T. Hofer Medical Center.

Nagpaalala naman ang PHO sa publiko na patuloy na mag-ingat sa mga sa sakit na tulad ng chickenpox, measles, herpes simplex virus, at iba pang febrile rash illnesses.

This number passed last year’s flu season, which set a previous high for a non-pandemic season with 207 pediatric deaths.
