📌 What Is AIA Guardian Plan?
AIA Guardian is a term insurance policy that provides a death benefit (a lump sum payout to your beneficiaries if you pass away during the policy period) with flexible coverage and payment options.
🧾 Key Features
✔ Life Insurance Coverage
If you pass away while the policy is active, your beneficiaries receive a guaranteed lump sum payout.
✔ Flexible Coverage Periods
You can choose different terms — typically 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, or up to age 65 — depending on your needs and budget.
✔ Payment Options
Premiums can be paid in one lump sum, or through various payment periods like annual or regular pay, according to what suits your finances.
✔ Renewable & Convertible
You can renew your plan when the term ends.
You may also convert it to a permanent life insurance plan later without evidence of insurability, giving you more lifetime coverage options if your needs change.
➕ Optional Riders (Add-Ons)
You can customize your Guardian plan by adding riders for extra protection:
Accident Protection — Additional cash benefit if injury, disability, or death is caused by an accident.
Waiver of Premium — Your future premiums are waived if you’re diagnosed with certain critical illnesses but remain covered.
Daily Hospital Allowance — Get cash per day you’re hospitalized, with higher amounts for ICU or long stays.
🧠 Insurance Basics
Term life insurance means the policy covers you for a specific period. You get protection during that term — and if you survive the term without claiming, there’s typically no payout (unless converted or renewed).
The payout (death benefit) is a one-time sum your family receives to help cover financial needs after you’re gone.
