Nagsagawa ng isang Lay Forum tungkol sa Pangangalaga sa Kalusugan ng Balat, na pinangunahan ni Dr. Yu mula sa Dermatology Department. 🩺✨

Ilan sa mga mahahalagang tips sa pangangalaga ng balat na ibinahagi:
🧴 1. Gumamit ng sunscreen araw-araw – Proteksyon laban sa UV rays para iwas sunburn at skin aging.
🚿 2. Malinis na skincare routine – Banayad na paghuhugas ng mukha 1–2 beses sa isang araw gamit ang mild cleanser.
💧 3. I-hydrate ang balat – Uminom ng sapat na tubig at gumamit ng moisturizer na angkop sa inyong skin type.
🍎 4. Kumain ng masusustansyang pagkain – Iwasan ang oily at processed foods; mas pumili ng prutas at gulay.
😴 5. Sapat na tulog at stress management – Malaking epekto nito sa paglabas ng acne at iba pang skin concerns.
🚫 6. Iwasang magpisa o magtusok ng pimples – Maaaring magdulot ng impeksiyon at peklat.

Nagbabala ang DOH na ‘wag magpapaloko sa mga sinasabing marketing strategy ng v**e at iba pang novel ni****ne products.

Ayon mismo kay DOH Sec. Ted Herbosa, fake news na mas ligtas ang v**e kaysa sigarilyo.

Pinaiigting ng DOH ang mga inisiyatibo para protektahan ang mga Pilipino laban sa yosi at v**e.

✅ Patuloy na nilalabanan ng DOH ang sinasabi ng mga negosyante na mas ligtas ang v**e kaysa yosi. PAREHO ITONG MAPANGANIB SA KALUSUGAN.

✅ Pinalalakas ng DOH ang mga programa para matulungan huminto sa bisyo o ang mga cessation service sa mga health center at DOH hospitals.

✅ Bukas ang DOH Quitline 1558 para sa libre at propesyonal na tulong.

To stop AMR, we must act now across all sectors through awareness, prevention, and responsible use of antimicrobials."

🌏 Uniting Asia for Better Cancer Care

Regional collaboration takes center stage at the Conference of the Asian Society of Head & Neck Oncology and ORL-HNS Congress held in Vietnam — where leaders and experts across Asia came together to strengthen cancer care systems and share best practices.

Representing the Philippines, the PCS Cancer Commission Foundation (PCS CanCom) joined the conversation through our Director, Dr. Ida Marie Lim, who presented “The Philippine Head and Neck Cancer Clinic Guidelines” — highlighting the country’s strides toward standardized and person-centered cancer care.

Also contributing to this regional exchange of knowledge were Dr. Ana Rivers (Head and Neck Surgeon, The Medical City/Zamboanga) and an ENT from Rizal Medical Center, who both presented their research, along with Dr. Alfredo Pontejos and Dr. Christine Arquiza, who served as speakers in key sessions.

🤝 Together, we move forward—strengthening partnerships, aligning standards, and building a more resilient and inclusive cancer care ecosystem across Asia.

Sa pamamagitan nito, masisiguro na kompleto, tama, at ligtas ang mga impormasyong ipinapasa mula sa isang health facility patungo sa iba.

👉 PAALALA: Iwasang sagutan ang QR Code kung ikaw ay HINDI health care provider upang maiwasan ang pagkaantala sa proseso ng referral. Ang NUMERONG nakasaad ay para lamang sa COORDINATED REFERRAL, sa ibang katanungan, tumawag sa hotline na eto: 02-87119491 to 98.

✅ Hakbang 3: Kung kinakailangan, maaaring humiling ang PHU Navigator ng karagdagang dokumento o impormasyon.
✅ Hakbang 4: Kapag tinanggap na para sa transfer:
