Ang isang malusog na bansa ay nagsisimula sa isang malinis at tapat na pamumuno.

At Dr. Yanga's Hospital, every day is a battle against sickness, suffering, and the limits of our healthcare system. We care for patients with compassion, skill, and integrity because we believe every life is worth fighting for. But no matter how hard we work inside our hospital walls, we cannot ignore the illness that continues to plague our nation beyond them.

As healthcare workers, we are trained to diagnose, treat, and heal. Today and especially tomorrow, we extend that mission beyond medicine. We raise our voices not just as doctors, nurses, and hospital staff but as Filipinos who believe that truth, justice, and good governance are essential to the health of our society.

Last May 2024, the first case of v**e-related death in the Philippines was reported. A healthy, sporty, 22-year old Filipino male with with no known preexisting medical conditions suddenly died due to acute lung injury and heart attack. According to DOH Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo, his clear lungs were erased because they were blocked by the v**e chemicals. "It is a senseless death, a young life snuffed out," as noted by Southeast Asia To***co Control Alliance.

Here's a public health reminder from Dr. Yanga's Hospital in partnership with Philippine College of Chest Physicians on the use v**e and e-cigarette.

Ang ganitong pag-iisip at kakulangan sa kaalaman ang sanhi kung bakit halos animnapung Pilipino pa rin ang namamatay kada araw dahil sa TB o Tuberculosis.

Ang TB ay nagagamot at maaaring iwasan. Ang kailangan lamang ay ang disiplina sa kalinisan at pangangalaga sa ating kalusugan.

Walang pinipiling edad, kasarian o estado sa buhay ang TB. Kaya dapat ganito rin kasigasig ang ating pag-iingat at pagpapahalaga sa ating kalusugan.

Ang Dr. Yanga's Hospital ay kaisa sa pagpapalaganap ng kaalaman para ang TB ay maiwasan.
