Every story has a beginning, every sentence starts with a few words and big things always start from small things and that is how ACE Medical Center, Legazpi came into being. It all started with a casual conversation of two friends, Dr. Arbel Perete and Dr. Roxas “Bobet” Lee-Llacer, who expressed to each other their desired dream of putting up a hospital managed by doctors of their generation. In August 2015, the two had a transcending conversation with other colleagues over bottle of beers, realizing that they all have the same aspiration—to build a hospital. What seem to be an idea, merely a dream, was slowing transforming into a reality. In 2014, Typhoon Yolanda hit Eastern Visayas, causing devastation in the province of Tacloban City. Medical Missions abound in the area to help fellow Filipinos badly stricken by the typhoon. PCP Bicol were among those who heeded the call. ACE Medical Center - Legazpi Inc.'s Infection Prevention and Control Committee successfully conducted a handwashing competency assessment from September 22 to 24, 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to uphold the highest standards of infection prevention and control. Randomly selected medical and non-medical staff from various departments were assessed during duty hours to ensure proper hand hygiene practices.

This initiative emphasized adherence to the WHO’s Five Moments for Hand Hygiene, helping to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections and promote a safer environment for both patients and staff."

Bunsod ng paparating na Severe Tropical Storm Opong, inaasahan ang pagbaha ngayong araw sa mga probinsya ng Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Sorsogon, Masbate, Samar, at Biliran.
May posibilidad din ng pagbaha sa Catanduanes, Leyte, Southern Leyte, at Dinagat Islands, lalo na sa mga lugar na madaling bahain o malapit sa mga ilog.
Pinaaalalahanan ng DOH ang publiko na mag-ingat sa pagkalunod. Maging handa rin sa pag-likas lalo na kapag nakatira malapit sa coastal areas.
Tignan ang flood advisory at storm surge warnings ng DOST-PAGASA para malaman ang lagay ng mga ilog at tabing dagat sa inyong lugar.

✨👩‍👧‍👦 World Patient Safety Day 2025 👩‍👧‍👦✨

In celebration of World Patient Safety Day, ACE Medical Center - Legazpi Inc. in partnership with the Philippine Pediatric Society-Bicol Chapter, welcomed mothers and children from Barangay Bogtong for a day dedicated to safe care for every newborn and child. 💙

The activity included a lecture on newborn and child care and free medical check-up for newborn children up to 5 years old.

We thank our pediatricians from the Philippine Pediatric Society - Bicol Chapter for sharing their time and expertise, and to our mothers and barangay health workers of Bogtong, Legazpi City who participated in this meaningful event.
