A single unit of blood can help save multiple lives, and through education and awareness, we help communities understand how one simple act of donation can make a life-changing difference.
In line with this, our Donor Blood Recruitment Officer, MT Raymond Rainel C. Caceres, together with MT Krizza Mika P. De Mesa and Chief Medical Technologist Geraldine A. Milallos, conducted a blood donation pep talk at STI College–Legazpi. The activity was made possible through the approval of the school administrator, Mrs. Mary Anne S. Vasquez-Revale, with the support of Ms. Janna Alyssa Jacob. STI College–Legazpi will also serve as the venue for the upcoming Mobile Blood Donation Drive on February 4, 2026.
The pep talk aimed to educate, motivate, and reassure potential blood donors by addressing common concerns, overcoming fears, and emphasizing the importance of safe blood donation. Ultimately, it was designed to prepare donors both mentally and physically, encouraging greater participation and ensuring a successful donation activity.
This initiative is conducted in support of the Department of Health’s advocacy “Dugong Bigay, Dugtong Buhay” and forms part of our continuing social responsibility to serve and uplift the community.
