PART III: RANDOM SHOTS (Group Pics)

The Local Government Unit of Bontoc proudly celebrated the 33rd NATIONAL CHILDREN'S MONTH with the👇
THEME: "Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of
Children(OSAEC) and Children sexual Abuse
and Exploitation Materials(CSAEM) Wakasan:
Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata Ipaglaban!"

The event held on November 20, 2025 at the Municipal Auditorium showcased the talents and vibrant spirit of our young learners from the 29 CDCs of Bontoc. Young learners participated in the three categories: a. Singing, b. Declamation, and c. Draw and Tell highlighting their cultural heritage and promoting their rights. This celebration served as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for every child in Bontoc.

Municipal Mayor Hon. Franklin C. Odsey was also present and shared a wonderful message to everybody. On the other hand, Councilor Hon. Mila Fang-asan made the closing remark.

Furthermore, the three judges invited were: Ms. Annie A. Wallang, Ms. Chamreine C. Casiwen, and Ms. Herminia T. Samelo.

The Bontoc Child Development Workers' Federation -BCDWsF together with the MSWDO staffs work hand in hand for the success of the said activity. As the sayings goes,

"Two heads are better than one".

CHILDREN'S MONTH CELEBRATION is being done every school year for the month of November. This marks the 33rd celebration for the year 2025 with the 👇

Five Child Development Workers together with their SFP Focal Ma'am VHenice GraCe attended and participated in the Orientation on the SFP Database and Various Sectoral Programs on October 21 to 24, 2025 at the Newtown Plaza Hotel, Baguio City.

The said activity was conducted for the participants from the different municipalities of BENGUET and MOUNTAIN PROVINCE.

Moreover, six topics were presented and discussed to the participants:
FIRST TOPIC- SFP Guideline Updates
SECOND TOPIC- Orientation on the SFP Beneficiary Database
THIRD TOPIC- National Policies on Fisability
FOURTH TOPIC-Early Detection, Prevention, and Intervention of Disability(EDPID): The Ability to Take Care
FIFTH TOPIC-Referral Phatways of Children in Special Needs Protection(CSNP) Cases
SIXTH TOPIC- Implementing Rules and Regulations of the RA 11908 or the Parent Effectiveness Service Program Act
