📢 BULSU HEALTH ADVISORY

Implementation of Health and Safety Measures – October 20, 2025

To ensure the well-being of all students and staff amid a rise in respiratory illnesses, Bulacan State University will begin enforcing the following health and safety protocols starting Monday, October 20, 2025:

1️⃣ Face Masks – Must be worn in all enclosed spaces (classrooms, offices, laboratories, etc.)
2️⃣ Daily Disinfection – Regular cleaning of learning and working spaces will be conducted
3️⃣ Symptom Monitoring – Students experiencing flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat) are required to report to the University Health Services

With the rise in flu-like cases this season, the University Health Services reminds everyone to take extra precautions to protect your health and the well-being of our community.

We strongly encourage everyone especially those experiencing flu-like symptoms, to consistently and properly wear face masks, particularly in crowded or enclosed areas on and off campus. This simple measure significantly helps reduce the spread of respiratory infections such as influenza.

Additionally, please continue practicing good hygiene habits:

• Wash or sanitize your hands regularly
• Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing
• Stay home if you are feeling unwell
