Regular eye check-ups are super important for kids. Here's why:
1. Detecting vision problems early can prevent long-term issues like lazy eye or amblyopia.
2. Kids might not realize they're having trouble seeing, so check-ups help identify issues they can't express.
3. Good vision is crucial for learning and development, affecting reading, writing, and even sports performance.
Eye doctors recommends the first eye exam at 6 months, followed by checks at ages 3 and 5, and then every 1-2 years after starting school.
