Proper diet is important to prevent or delay progression of kidney disease.

• 2 hiwa ng tinapay (9x8x1 cm bawat isa)

• 3 ounces o kasinlaki ng matchbox
• Lean beef (sirloin/lomo)

Gulay (½ ng plato)
1 serving = ½ cup nilutong gulay
• Sitaw
• Repolyo
• Ampalaya
• Mais
• Pipino
• Letsugas
• Sibuyas
• Baguio beans
• Spinach
• Labanos
• Kalabasa

Prutas (1 maliit na piraso o ½ cup)
• Saging
• Abokado
• Ubas
• Orange

Mga Opsyon para sa Meryenda (Snacks)
• Saging na saba
• Unsweetened suman (8x4x2 cm)
• Crackers (3 piraso)
• Noodles/pasta (1 cup)

🥄 Fats (1 serving = 1 tbsp)
• Mantika
• Butter
• Mayonnaise
Tubig – uminom ng sapat ayon sa payo ng doktor.
Iba pang mapagkukunan ng protina: keso, tokwa, pagkaing dagat, beans. Mas mabuting iwasan ang processed food.
Limitahan ang itlog: buo hanggang isa (1) kada araw lamang.

Dialysis is not permanent/lifetime if the reason for doing the dialysis in the hospital is because of the following:

1. Severe infections
2. Severe dehydration
3. Blood loss
4. Poisoning or medicine overdose
5. Blockages in the urinary tract
6. Severe build up of fluids that the kidneys cannot remove the fluid
7. Severely elevated potassium in the blood
8. Severe acidity of the blood
9. Severe brain damage leading to the kidneys shutting down

Ang obesity kay isa sa mga risgo sa pagkadaot sa rinyon/bato.

Tahimik na sinisira ng obesidad ang iyong bato.
Maaaring mauwi ito sa sakit sa bato, diabetes, at alta-presyon.

Pero may magagawa ka!
kumain ng tama, mag-ehersisyo, at kontrolin ang asukal at presyon.

Malusog na pagpili ngayon, protektadong bato bukas.

Ngayong panahon ng mga bagyo ay tiyak na magkakaroon ng matinding pagbabaha. Dala rin nito ang pagtaas ng kaso ng LEPTOSPIROSIS.
