Understanding adolescents/teens.

Did you know that our brains reach full maturity at age 25 or so? 🧠

Adult and teen brains work differently. Adults think with the prefrontal cortex, the brain’s rational part. Unfortunately this part of the brain is not yet fully developed with teens. This is the part of the brain that responds to situations, helps you to inhibit impulses with good judgment and an awareness of long-term consequences. 😉

So this explains the way our adolescent behaves, impulsive, fearless at times. Can you still remember how you were then during your teenage/adolescent days?🤫

Oh, did i mentioned females' brains develop about on average two years earlier than male brains? (kaya seguro advance kaming mag isip)? 😜
